MAXUS Dana Super EREV Van 2026

The Dana Super EREV is the most interesting vehicle in the MAXUS light commercial range for markets with unreliable electricity. It drives as a pure electric van — the wheels are only ever turned by the rear motor — but carries a small generator engine that recharges the 50 kWh CATL pack on the move. That gives 312 km of battery range for city work and 1,260 km CLTC combined when the route runs long, at a claimed 2.65 L/100 km WLTC equivalent. Payload is 1.5 tonnes into 7.7 or 8.9 m³, and the roof is rated to six tonnes.

N1 category, homologated as a range-extender electric vehicle. That classification does not exist in every market's duty schedule — some treat EREVs as hybrids, some as electric — and the difference is material. Confirm the classification with your customs broker before modelling landed cost.
