Commercial overview

The Lingsheng V100 is the newest light commercial vehicle SAIC MAXUS has announced and, at the time of writing, is still at domestic pre-sale rather than in export production. What the manufacturer has published is a wide-body electric cargo van with a rear-mounted motor driving the rear axle, 150 kW and 380 Nm, an 11 m³ load bay, a three-seat front row and 376 km of CLTC range at 16.6 kWh/100 km. A five- or six-leaf rear spring and a 36% gradeability point at loaded rather than light duty, and the load bay measures 1,850 mm across by 1,800 mm high. Full exterior dimensions and weights follow with the configuration sheet.

What is this specification used for?

  • Volume urban distribution
  • Fleet operators evaluating next-generation electric vans
  • Wide-body cargo work where load width matters more than length

Key highlights

  • 150 kW and 380 Nm — the manufacturer claims best in class on both
  • 376 km CLTC range at 16.6 kWh/100 km
  • 11 m³ wide-body load bay with a three-seat front row
  • Rear-mounted motor with rear-wheel drive for loaded stability
  • Five- or six-leaf rear spring and 36% gradeability
  • 140 km/h maximum speed

Full technical specification

Taken from SAIC MAXUS launch material; an export configuration sheet for this model has not been published yet. Rows the manufacturer does not publish are omitted rather than estimated — gross vehicle mass and payload in particular are re-declared per destination at homologation.

Homologation and steering

The V100 is at domestic pre-sale and export homologation is in progress. Figures here come from the manufacturer's launch material rather than a published configuration sheet, so the exact specification, steering and N1 declaration are confirmed with the factory when an order is placed — as they are on every model, but here against a specification that is still being finalised.

Left-hand drive. The V100 is at pre-sale in China and has not yet entered export production; steering and specification are both confirmed against the production plan before any order is accepted.

Shipping methods

Ro-Ro · 40HQ container (CBU)

Ro-Ro costs less per unit and suits single vehicles and large mixed shipments; a 40HQ container takes two vehicles and protects paint on long transits. We quote both on every proforma invoice. Full comparison of the two shipping modes →

Factory colours available on this model: Arctic White. Non-stock colours extend the lead time and are confirmed against the current build slot.
